N,N-Dicyclohexyl-2-benzothiazolesulfenamide (DCBS) is a delayed-action, sulfenamide-type rubber accelerator that provides excellent scorch safety, good processing stability and reliable curing performance. It is commonly selected for rubber compounds that require longer processing time and controlled vulcanization.
Light yellow powder. Easily soluble in benzene, methylene chloride, carbon tetrachloride, soluble in ethyl acetate, ethanol, acetone and gasoline, but insoluble in water.
