N-Methylolacrylamide

White crystalline powder. Easily soluble in water and hydrophilic solvents, soluble in fatty acid esters, but almost insoluble in hydrophobic solvents such as hydrocarbons and halogenated hydrocarbons.

The molecule of this product has a double bond conjugated with the carbonyl group and a reactive hydroxymethyl group. It is a widely used cross-linking monomer and is used for fiber modification, resin processing, adhesives, paper, leather, and metal. Surface treatment agent, can also be used as soil conditioner, etc.
