Milky white or beige powder or granule. Soluble in benzene, methylene chloride, carbon tetrachloride, ethyl acetate, acetone, slightly soluble in ethanol and gasoline, insoluble in water.

One of the commonly used post-effect accelerators. It is suitable for rubber compounds using furnace black and has the two major advantages of excellent scorch resistance and short vulcanization time. It can be used in natural rubber, recycled rubber and diene synthetic rubber, especially styrene-butadiene rubber. Can be used alone or in combination with other accelerators. Because of its bitter taste, it cannot be used in food-related products. There is slight discoloration, no blooming, and the vulcanized rubber has excellent aging resistance. Mainly used in tires, rubber shoes, hoses, tapes, cables, general industrial products, etc.
