Dioctyl Phthalate DOP

Dioctyl phthalate is a colorless or light yellow transparent liquid with a special odor. Its boiling point is 386°C and its relative density is 0.980~0.983 (20/4°C). Insoluble in water, soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and ether. It is prepared by the esterification reaction of phthalic anhydride and 2-ethylhexanol. It is one of the most widely used plasticizers in plastic processing. It has good comprehensive properties, high growth efficiency, low volatility, UV resistance, and cold resistance, which improves the softness and electrical properties of the product. It is an ideal main plasticizer.
