Light yellow flake or liquid, which turn black when heated. Slightly hygroscopic. Soluble in ketones and aromatic hydrocarbons.
It is used as a vulcanizing agent for cast polyurethane rubber, a cross-linking agent for polyurethane coatings and adhesives, and can also be used to cure epoxy resins. Liquid MOCA can be used as room temperature curing agent for polyurethane and spray polyurea curing agent.
