Properties & Applications & PackagesInquiry
Light yellow powder. Easily soluble in benzene, methylene chloride, carbon tetrachloride, soluble in ethyl acetate, ethanol, acetone and gasoline, but insoluble in water.

It is used as a post-effect accelerator for natural rubber, butadiene rubber, butylaniline, isopentyl rubber, etc. Good dispersion properties in rubber. The scorch time in natural rubber compounds is longer than that of accelerator DIBS, so the operation safety is higher. The vulcanization speed at vulcanization temperature is similar to that of accelerator DIBS. The vulcanization flatness is similar to that of accelerator CZ.

The moldless steam vulcanization of the rubber containing this product is slightly faster than the flat vulcanization. It is suitable for rubber materials with large amounts of highly active reinforcing agents, and also suitable for rubber materials mainly composed of polybutadiene rubber or recycled rubber. The mechanical properties of vulcanized rubber, especially the dynamic properties, are relatively good, and the elasticity and elongation strength are high. Because vulcanized rubber has a bitter taste, it is not suitable for manufacturing rubber products that come into contact with food. Mainly used in the manufacture of tires, tapes, shock-absorbing products and backing rubber for retreading tires.
