Dodecyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride is a light yellow viscous paste. It is soluble in water, resistant to acid, hard water, inorganic salts, but not alkali.

It is used as a leveling agent for cationic dyes and acrylic chemical fibers. It makes the dyed fabric feel soft. This product has good softness for acetate fibers and has a bactericidal and disinfecting effect. It has good leveling properties for cationic dyes. It can be used in the same bath with cationic and non-ionic surfactants. When dyeing acrylic fibers, the general dosage is 2% to 3%. To increase the dyeing rate, it can be added to 3% to 5%. Uses This product is mainly used as a thickener for grease, a medical bactericide, a textile wetting agent, a softener, and an antistatic agent. It has good stability.
