Properties & Applications & PackagesInquiry
1. Properties
PBTCA has a low phosphorus content. Due to its structural characteristics of phosphonic acid and carboxylic acid, it has good scale and corrosion inhibition performance, which is superior to commonly used organic phosphonic acids. Especially at high temperatures, its scale inhibition performance is much better than commonly used organic phosphonic acids. It can improve the solubility of zinc, has good chlorine oxidation resistance, and has good synergistic properties when compounded.
PBTCA has a wide range of applications and superior performance in the formulation of efficient scale and corrosion inhibitors, and is also an excellent stabilizer for zinc salts. Widely used for corrosion and scale inhibition in circulating cooling water systems and oilfield water injection systems, it is particularly suitable for use in combination with zinc salts and copolymers. It can be used in high-temperature, high hardness, high alkali, and high concentration operation scenarios. PBTCA can be used as a chelating agent and metal cleaning agent in the washing industry.
