Appearance: White or light yellow gel-like colloid.

Solubility: Easily soluble in water; dispersible in butyl stearate, triolein and mineral oil.
Stability: Stable when the pH value is between 4 and 7. When the pH value is less than 4, it will decompose; when the pH value is greater than 7, it will decompose slowly. It will decompose when heated to high temperatures for a long time. Flash point: >93℃.

Applications:
1. As the main component or auxiliary component of detergents and foaming agents, it is widely used in the fields of personal care products such as toothpaste, shampoo, hand soap, shampoo paste, and shower gel.
2. Compared with sodium lauryl sulfate: ammonium lauryl sulfate has lower toxicity and irritation, so it is widely used in personal care products such as shampoo and shower gel.
3. In view of the irritation of ammonium lauryl sulfate, in products that are used in direct long-term contact with the human body, such as skin care products, the added amount should not exceed 1%.
