Di(propylene glycol) methyl ether acetate (common names: Dipropylene Glycol Methyl Ether Acetate, DPMA; CAS 88917-22-0) is a clear, colorless liquid solvent with high solvency, low volatility and excellent formulation compatibility. DPMA is widely used as a co-solvent and formula stabilizer in industrial coatings and screen-printing inks, as a cleaning solvent and as a functional solvent ingredient in topical pharmaceuticals where it can improve skin penetration of actives.

Used as an solvent, it is also used as a formula stabilizer and to improve skin penetration in topically applied acne preparations containing erythromycin.
