Trichloroethylene is an organic compound with the chemical formula C2HCl3.
It is a colorless and transparent liquid formed by replacing three hydrogen atoms in ethylene molecules with chlorine.
It is insoluble in water, soluble in ethanol and ether, and miscible in most organic solvents.
