Bis(2-ethylhexyl) Phthalate (commonly abbreviated as DEHP or DOP) — chemical name Di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate, CAS 117-81-7 — is a colorless to pale-yellow oily liquid used extensively as a primary plasticizer to impart softness, flexibility and processability to PVC and other polymer systems. DEHP is the industrial benchmark for many flexible vinyl applications due to its balanced performance, low volatility and extraction resistance.
